Official Contest Rules

1. Sponsor

The Opps free prize contest (the "Free Prize Contest") is operated by Internet Friends Group, LLC, 8 The Green Ste A, Dover, DE 19901 (the "Sponsor," "we," "us," or "our"), the entity that operates the Opps app. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this contest in any manner.

2. Eligibility

Opps is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:

• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Are legal residents of the United States.
• Are not residents of Arizona, Iowa, or South Carolina. Prizes are not available in these states due to state-specific contest law. Residents of these states may still play Opps and earn XP, but are not eligible to receive a prize.
• Are not employees, contractors, or immediate family members of the Sponsor, where such exclusions apply.

The list of excluded states may change over time as laws change. The current excluded list is Arizona, Iowa, and South Carolina. Void where prohibited by law.

3. How to Enter

The Free Prize Contest is free to enter. There is no entry fee, no purchase necessary, and no payment of any kind required to participate or to be eligible for a prize. To enter a contest period, make at least one pick on that day's card in the Opps app. Every user who does is automatically entered into that period's contest, including a user whose picks are all incorrect and who finishes with a score of 0. No separate registration is required beyond normal use of the app.

4. Prize Description and Value

Sponsor runs the Free Prize Contest in daily contest periods. A contest period covers one sports day, which runs from 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time to 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time the next day. Sponsor may pause contests or change how they run from time to time. Any such change applies from the start of a later period and never to a period already in progress.

For each contest period, the Opps app shows the prize for that period: its form and value, the scores that are paid, the minimum score required, and how the prize is divided. A prize may take the form of cash, physical goods, or items or experiences provided by a sponsor.

When the prize is cash, the app shows the pool amount for the period and how it is divided by score. The prize paid is up to the pool amount, because a share that no prize-eligible player qualifies for is not paid and each share is rounded down to the cent (see Section 5). Cash prizes are paid in US dollars, to the cent, via the payout method Sponsor supports at the time.

Physical or sponsor-provided prizes are fulfilled by delivery or as otherwise described for that prize, and a winner may be asked to provide shipping information to receive them. No cash substitution is offered for a non-cash prize except at Sponsor's discretion. Prizes are non-transferable.

5. Scoring and Awards

Winners are determined by ranking on the published score for the period. No drawing or other random selection is used to choose winners.

A player's score for a period is the number of their picks on that day's card that are graded correct, shown as a number out of 8 (for example, 6/8). A pick counts toward the sports day of its game. Picks are graded against the official final game statistics Sponsor receives from its sports data provider.

A pick is void when the statistic it depends on is not recorded for the player in a completed game, for example because the player did not play. A void pick does not count as correct. It awards 5 XP.

XP is for personal progression only. It does not affect a player's score, ranking, prize eligibility, or any prize.

Sponsor closes a period once all of its picks are graded, normally the morning after the period ends. If a result is still unavailable at 12:00 p.m. UTC that morning (8:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time), Sponsor may close the period with that pick ungraded. An ungraded pick does not count as correct. A period's scores, rankings, and prizes are final when it closes, and a later correction to a game statistic does not change them.

When a period closes, only players who are prize-eligible under Section 2 are considered for prizes. Players who are not prize-eligible still appear on the leaderboard and may keep playing, but do not receive a winner notification or a prize for that period.

A prize is paid to every prize-eligible player at a paying score, according to the payout in effect when that period closes, as shown in the Opps app. Prize-eligible players at the same score share that score's prize equally. If the app shows that the top score wins, the prize is split equally among the prize-eligible players with the highest score, if that score is at or above the minimum shown in the app. Ties are never broken by account age, sign-up order, or any other factor outside the score.

Each score's prize, and each player's share of it, is rounded down to the cent. A share that rounds down to less than one cent is not paid. If no prize-eligible player finishes at a paying score, the prize for that score is not paid. Unpaid amounts are not redistributed to other players in the same period. Sponsor may add part of an unpaid amount to the pool of a later period, where it is included in the pool shown in the app; the rest is retained by Sponsor. Because a period closes after the next period has opened, the pool shown for the next period can increase after that period opens.

6. Winner Notification, Winnings, and Withdrawals

Winners are notified in the app and may also receive a push notification where enabled.

A cash prize is credited automatically to the winner's Winnings balance in the Opps app when the period closes. No claim is needed to receive it.

A winner can withdraw their Winnings balance in the app once it reaches the minimum withdrawal amount shown in the app. To withdraw, a winner provides their legal name and payout details for a payment method the app supports, confirms that they are 18 or older and a US resident, and allows the app to confirm that their current location is in a state where prizes are available (see Section 2). Only one withdrawal can be pending at a time. Sponsor processes withdrawals and may pause them from time to time. A withdrawal that cannot be completed is returned to the Winnings balance.

A non-cash prize is claimed in the app. Opening the prize notification takes the winner to the claim screen, where they provide the information needed to receive the prize. A non-cash prize must be claimed within 7 days of notification, or it is forfeited.

Withdrawals and claims are made only in the Opps app. Requests sent by email, social media, direct message, or any other channel are not withdrawals or claims. They will not be processed, and they do not preserve or extend a claim period. As part of a withdrawal or claim, a winner may be asked to confirm their location and identity information consistent with Sections 2 and 8.

7. Void Where Prohibited

This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Prizes are not available to residents of Arizona, Iowa, or South Carolina.

8. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes received, including the fair market value of any non-cash prize. Depending on the total value a user wins in a calendar year, Sponsor may be required to collect a completed Form W-9 and issue a Form 1099 to the winner and to the IRS once winnings reach the applicable reporting threshold.

9. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or fee of any kind is required to enter Opps, to earn XP, or to be eligible for a prize. Normal data and device charges from a user's mobile carrier may still apply and are the user's responsibility.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including malfunctioning software, lost or delayed data, or interrupted connections that affect entry, XP calculation, or prize payout. By entering, users agree that Sponsor's liability in connection with this contest is limited to the value of the prize at issue, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

11. General

• These rules may be updated by Sponsor from time to time. The version in effect at the start of a contest period governs that period.
• Prior versions of these rules are available on request at support@opps.world.
• Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has attempted to manipulate XP, circumvent location eligibility checks, or otherwise abuse the contest.
• These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
